ABOUT ME
Pain changes people. Trauma changes people. Stress, anxiety, broken relationships, and emotional exhaustion can leave people feeling disconnected from themselves, from others, and from the life they truly want to live. But healing is possible — and you do not have to walk through it alone.
My name is Trent Davis, MA, LPC and I am passionate about helping people heal, grow, and become the healthiest version of themselves emotionally, mentally, relationally, and spiritually.
Before becoming a counselor, I served for many years as a first responder, where I witnessed firsthand the effects of trauma, stress, anxiety, grief, and relationship struggles on individuals and families. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the burdens many people carry silently every day — especially those in high-stress professions, leadership roles, and family responsibilities.
As both a counselor and a Christian, I believe true healing involves more than simply managing symptoms. I believe people are created with purpose, value, and the capacity for growth and restoration. My faith influences the compassion, grace, and hope I strive to bring into the counseling relationship. For clients who desire it, I am honored to integrate Christian principles, biblical truth, and faith-based encouragement into the counseling process while still using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
I work with individuals, couples, teens, and especially men struggling with anxiety, anger, trauma, emotional disconnection, stress, perfectionism, and relationship conflict. I understand how easy it is for people to become emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in survival mode, and I am passionate about helping clients rebuild emotional strength, healthy relationships, and a renewed sense of purpose.
My counseling approach combines evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and trauma-informed therapy with practical tools, real-world experience, and compassionate support. I believe therapy should provide not only insight, but also meaningful strategies that help people create lasting change in their daily lives.
Clients often describe me as approachable, grounded, honest, and encouraging. My goal is to create a safe environment where people feel heard, challenged, supported, and never judged.
I believe healing is possible, growth is intentional, and no one has to walk through difficult seasons alone. Whether through clinical tools, emotional support, or faith-based encouragement, my goal is to help clients move toward greater peace, resilience, confidence, connection, and hope.
